The new manager will have a good idea what he needs to get the team back on track after watching this game. From the first moment Colliers Wood took control and credit has to be given to Liam Beach and the whole defence to keep the score at only 4-0, such was the Colliers Wood dominance. We didn't have one shot on or off target all of the game. Without a strike force or Nathaniel on the wing our ability to get the ball forward was limited to dead ball situations. That said if he can keep the core of the team together and add an attack we will be just fine.

So where has our strikeforce gone? Have they all followed Donovan? How many players shown on the club website players list do we still have? Looking forward to the new Dean Thomas era... hopefully he will stick around and build yet another side we can be proud of!

I believe we have lost three players to university in the past two weeks and Nathaniel Williams was injured against Knaphill. So education and a hatchet man has left us short up front.

ah thanks for that! I continue to follow my first ever club since I saw them when I was 7 years old in 1957 - sadly I now live a long, long way away so don't get there too often but thanks to you and the other regular posters on this forum I am able to keep up to date and live the dream that one day the mighty red and whites will return to the great days of characters like Darby Watts, Paddy Hastie, Seth Vafiadis, Dave Barrett, Eric Gill, Dave Bennett, Arthur Blisset, David Alfie Cliss, Peter Sillett, Tony Burge and all the others too numerous to mention...Up the City!
