2nd Leg, Round 1 of Combined Counties League's Grant McLellan Youth Cup for our lads tonight, where we'll be looking to turn around the deficit from the 1st Leg. The lads know that they could have, and should have, done better last time, so tonight will be another test for our young team.

City Youth crashed out of the CCL Youth Cup last night with a 4-1 defeat away to organised and physical Horley Town.

City went 1-0 down after half an hour of battling but soon equalised through winger Sean Grogan-Edwards who did well to cut in from the left, hold off a challenge and slide it past the oncoming keeper.

Short lived though, as a soft free kick was given on the edge of City's area and the well placed free kick made it over the wall to clip inside of the post.

City committed players forward and came close on a number of occasions, but two fast counter attacks by the home team secured Horley's passage to the next round.

Next up for the Youth is away to Fleet Town, Weds 12th, in the Southern Youth League.
