Another spirited display from the City Youth, only to be beaten once again by a generally older, well established squad.

The first goal came after 30 minutes from a Camberley free kick, 25 yards out, straight enough, skimmed along the grass to just inside the left upright. Disappointing to conceed as our lads had done well up to that point.

But Camberley's second goal was an absolute peach, 15 minutes from time. Number 10 Gavin Muir, again easily 25 yards out, right hand side of the pitch but a left footed curling shot that nestled itself inside the far post - que appreciative round of applause for that corker.

We had our moments in attack, maybe slightly more than in the two previous outings, but failed to capitalise. We showed a lot of heart, a lot of promise from our youngsters, but there is a need to polish our act and that will come over time no doubt.

At 2-0 City found a late extra gear to take the game to Camberley and showed good spirit, but there wasn't time enough for this rally to get one on the score sheet.
